After one year of war, and specifically after successful Kharkiv and Kherson operations there was a feeling that Ukraine can probably win this war. Russia was clearly on a back foot, and I could sense confidence among Ukrainian military that by mid-summer they will be sipping coffee in Sevastopol. It was not about the number of troops Russia could mobilize, but about them being willing and able to fight. Kharkiv clearly shown that they were not willing to fight.
